Quarterly barometer



  • This quarterly Opinion Poll tracks sentiment in the housing market, based on the experience of estate agents across the UK.

  • With mortgage rates falling and markets expecting another interest rate cut in November, 61% of agents say buyer confidence is significantly or slightly improved compared to three months ago.

  • 45% say transaction levels have improved on a quarterly basis however 42% report that they have remained the same. Although market conditions are improving, the upcoming Autumn budget may be creating some uncertainty.
